Oh sure, I'll try my best to explain it (I could only understand about 5% of the dialogue because my knowledge of Japanese is limited to cliche anime phrases and the various forms of "I"). But basically the game is a series of minigames and bonus things created mainly to tie people over before the release of episode 2. It includes an encyclopedia (much like the UMN database only more detailed and including a few images, voice and video clips), XenoPittan (a Xenosaga themed version of Namco's crossword puzzle type game), XenoKomi (a "choose your own adventure" style game <it's sort of like a dating sim with regard to how it plays, 2D characters pop up on screen and talk to you and you have to make decisions to progress the game> You get to play through as each of the 6 main characters from episode 1 and see the story from their perspective, and unlock the 7th (allen) after completeing the other 6. As far as story is concerned, from what I could tell KOS-MOS is infected by some kind of virus and starts chasing a little cat all over the Elsa and Durandal, when the other characters encounter her she can't understand what they're saying <it's all Nya's and Nyo's -- very ammusing to listen to> and she starts blowing stuff up in an attempt to get rid of the cat. When seen from other characters' perspectives KOS-MOS has black kitty ears and ends every sentence with --Nya! <also very ammusing to hear> the whole thing ends when she and Jr. are about to duke it out in the Elsa's cargo bay and MOMO comes in and knocks both of them out with a mallet-y thing she found earlier on the ship), and it also includes a demo for episode 2. Unfortunately it's unlikely that it'll ever see the light of day in the US, but even if you don't understand Japanese it's pretty easy to figure out (and hard to screw up XenoKomi, because it forces you to pick all of the options most of the time anyway and you always get the same ending with each character you can play through as -- it's just faster if you can read the options).

*Just read the description for Xenosaga freaks*....I need that game. I NEED THAT GAME. I'm so installing that...Thing that makes your PS2 play japanese games...NO ONE CAN STOP ME. @_@ *Ahem* Anyway.... Poor Jr...o__o Yes, it is infact very cute and funny. < 3 I like how KOS-MOS has her gun shaped like a carrot. Good job!
